Let me start by saying thank you for being here and wanting to understand who I am. How many people truly say they are motivated to get up in the morning to do what they love? I recently won the 2024 Best Female-Led Business Strategy Award, and although I don’t need accolades, knowing I am helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses is now my lifelong goal!  

My backstory is humble. I am not from an affluent background. Growing up, my parents worked in factories. They worked hard, and I was taught from a young age that you must work hard to succeed. After university, I realised I loved learning, data and meeting new people, and I fell into e-commerce as my industry.

I followed the path that provided security and the traditional linear career progression. Over the last 15 years, I have worked my way up to become the Director of eCommerce. I have worked alongside many successful companies, such as M&S, Speedo, and Claire’s Accessories, and startups like Just Hype. Working with renowned brands and helping grow their e-commerce presence has given me the toolkit to help other businesses and founders starting their e-commerce journeys.

Now, I work with brands and founders that excite me. I am no longer motivated by security, professional accolades, or financial success. Instead, I aim to help businesses and aspiring founders, especially women, start and grow their businesses. Across my career, I have felt there were never enough women around the table. I want to help as many women start and grow their e-commerce businesses as possible. My ambition is to help 1,000 businesses by the end of 2025!
